Q. How do I get a copy of this plan?

The Draft Plan is in two documents - the Plan and the Fees & Charges, and can be viewed from the Library on this site. Or, copies are available on Council's web site (www.portstephens.nsw.gov.au/what's on exhibition). Copies are also available at Council's Adminstration Building in Raymond Terrace and at Council's libraries, including the mobile library.

Q. How can I make a submission?

You can leave a comment on this website or you can make a written submission to Council via email to Fran.Flavel@portstephens.nsw.gov.au or in writing to Corporate Management, Port Stephens Council, PO Box 42 Raymond Terrace NSW 2324.
Your submission must be received by 31 March 2008.

Q. How long is this plan on public exhibition

The Local Government Act requires that this Plan is required be on public exhibition for at least 28 days. Council has voted to place the Plan on exhibition from 1 to 31 March 2008.

Q. What happens to my feedback?

All submissions and comments are collated at the end of the exhibition period and presented in a report to Council. The Councillors consider this feedback and amend the Draft Plan as necessary. The Plan is then formally adopted at the Ordinary Council Meeting in April.
