The Draft Medowie Strategy has been developed to guide and manage urban growth, build communities and conserve significant habitat corridors in the Medowie locality. The document consists of Strategic Directions containing background analysis, structure strategy, urban capacity report, implementation strategy and communication strategy.

Following the inital exhibition of the Draft Medowie Strategy in early 2007, over 300 submissions were received and considered by Council. Amendments have been made and Council has resolved to place the amended document on exhibition.

The exhibition period closes Thursday 12th June. Council encourages the residents of Medowie to have input into the final Draft Medowie Strategy.
