Meet Mark Pivon

Mark Pivon’s experience includes 20+ years in software and services related to the PR & marketing industry serving government, finance and pharma. He is degreed and a professionally trained business analyst, public participation (IAP2) and civic technology evangelist in service to local, provincial and Federal government. He also serves as an IAP2 training committee member in Canada.

Aside from Mark’s dedication to clients and helping them come up with solutions for meeting their project goals, he is a seasoned writer. He shares his insights and knowledge often through featured articles and partnered blog posts.

Mark was attracted to Bang the Table because of the people, product and the company culture. His confident attitude, wittiness and passion for working with clients fits right into the positive culture at Bang the Table.

“Bang the Table offers tremendous opportunities to grow and develop professionally and personally.  We practice what we preach, every day, which provides an environment of stability, security and opportunity in a market that is very dynamic and in constant flux.”

Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University as well as a Diploma in Sales & Marketing Management and a Certificate in Business Analysis, both from University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business. He also completed the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Certificate Program in Public Participation in 2014.

Fun Fact: In his spare time, Mark tries to live up to the Super Dad standards his family has set for him.  This usually leads to his wife and kids denying any affiliation with the stranger in the bleachers, and Mark trying to explain his actions were “…simply meant to build support for the Home Team”.
