The report states that Holt, despite having a lower than average percentage of green space than the rest of Belconnen it is still within acceptable limits. I want to know if this report has addressed the limits if the site is developed for housing in addition to the approval of another development in the nearby open space at the end of Davison Place. Slowly we are being closed in.

what exactly is Block 1 Section 18 Holt? I keep reading they recommend this be included in the area for redevelopment. Why is this so hard to determine in this report?

I say NO to courtyard homes and villas in this area. High density housing is increasing rapidly throughout Belconnen, our swimming pool is now a series of appartment buildings, more and more blocks of flats are going up in Belconnen, we don't need the old Melba flats going up in Holt. Bad enough that residents of Holt are having theives from nearby suburbs are targeting our homes, don't destroy the green open spaces and community areas too.

Keep these areas open and green, don't destroy the lungs of our community (greenspaces). Better to develop these areas to be enjoyed by all not just the deadheads who drive in from somewhere else and let their kids ride their noisy motorbikes around the oval on weekends destroying the peace of anyone living close by and reducing the chances of any locals enjoying these areas for quieter purposes.
