Ok, now I've read all the Draft WLEP, and looked at the maps etc. Before I worry about the detail, can someone enlighten me as to the big stuff. To begin with - will this be supported by new DCP's or will the old ones remain? For example, I read that a new Rural Lands DCP is in preparation.

The new Infrastructure SEPP is now in force - what are the implications for the Shire and the Draft LEP?

As part of the new planning instruments for the Shire, new DCPs will be prepared for each of the major towns, various viallages, rural areas and industrial areas. These DCPs will be exhibited for public comment with the first group to start in March 2008. The DOP has legislated that DCPs must be consistent with the LEP as well as stipulating that no more than one DCP may a apply to any parcel of land.

In relation to the money invested by our council, what organisation or person recommended such investment Company to Council Management and Councillors and did that person received acommission?

Do have a case against that organisation or person.?

I generally agree with the overall draft LEP however I am not in favour of selling off community land to fund a leisure center in a position removed from public transport & the majority population in the shire.

This LEP has taken far too long so PLEASE lets just get it finished.

can the parks be sold at any price that is not fully bet on...

will council retain ownership of the leisure centre or sell like the parks...

please not another pool but maintain all existing pools...

maintenance of parks wou be better done by council and they could have much more suitable equiptment than seen failing at our park .

council could also mow just where parks are not like our park some of witch is atotal mess (not the bit for sale)...

many other than mine good submisions not yet available to public yet...will be too lake for meetings...
