There are 11 goals aimed at continuously improving the way we do business across all our operations using the Business Excellence Framework. The draft Plan also contains the budget details, and statutory statements required to be included by the State Government. Asset maintenance is a major focus in this draft Plan (Goal 16). When is this council going to realise that your not in business, council is there to service the needs and represent the community, Council has contractors that carry out functions on behalf and for the community, case in point Solo waste services, I have not had my waste collected on two consequtive occassions, I have called council, they insist that i discuss the matter with the contractor, the contractor claims that my bin wasnt out in time (5.30am on the morning of collection is well within the define period for collection, the contractor claimed the bin wasnt out at this time and that i should cntact council, merry go round each blaming the other, this is so typical of the approach of this council and all in the name of business excellence, what a load of garbage, Council needs to focus on the community, in the mean time Mr Gesling the waste is ready for collection on the side of the road

Enough of the self-obsessed naval gazing! Just get on with what you're supposed to be doing. It's not rocket science!
