The Department of Local Government and the LGMA should provide scholarships to help Local Government employees from remote areas to attend Livewire events. Proposed at Livewire on 8 November 2007.

yes there is a heed for openness and spread of idears
such scholarships must help the less fortunate

I think the Exec should write a letter to the Department and the LGMA requesting such support. I agree that it is a way to ensure diversity of debate and recognise the huge geographic and financial impact of most events being held in metro areas.
