EngagementHQ New Features Roundup – September 2015
The seasons have changed with spring blooming in the southern hemisphere whilst the autumn leaves are falling in the north. As we acclimatise and update our wardrobes we are also cleaning up EngagementHQ! At the moment, we are focusing on making EngagementHQ more aesthetic, both for visitors and administrators alike. Importantly, we are also making EHQ even more intuitive and easy-to-use.
These are some of the things we have been working on:
- Improved admin interface
- More themes and branding options
- A Brainstormer with oodles of ideas
- Some of our favourite EHQ sites
- Events in QLD, Australia
Improved Admin Interfaces
EHQ’s administration interface, in particular, the tools and widgets management screens, have undergone a well-deserved facelift. We believe the changes will make managing your projects much easier.
We are rolling this out to all EngagementHQ sites over the coming weeks.
More ‘Theme’ and Branding Options
Welcome to our new ‘Theme’ section under Site Settings -> Theme! This is where you can select your preferred homepage template and brand your EHQ using even more options. Though this upgrade is not yet finished, the current screen (below) gives you a good idea of what’s to come, which includes:
- Easy management of all upcoming homepage template layouts, such as our new ‘Whitehaven‘ theme
- Logo and favicon upload
- More colour options
A Brainstormer With Lots of Ideas
Have you used our newest ideation tool Brainstormer? The City of Perth, Western Australia has used Brainstormer for a consultation on their Draft Environment Strategy, which has been effective in collecting more than 76 participant ideas.
Check it out here.

Take a look at some terrific staff picked EHQ sites:
The City of Sydney ran a well-designed skate park consultation in late August while the Victorian Department of Education is continuing their discussion on Victoria as the Education State. Both these sites use the new ‘Whitehaven’ template effectively and are worth checking out.
